Coach Bill Busch - "Buckle Up for the Ride"
In a profession that’s consumed with winning and losing, Coach Busch has learned well how to navigate the highs and lows of life, both professionally and personally. In his world, those changes –which can actually alter the course of one’s life – occur in the blink of an eye, on a daily basis, every week, and of course, fluctuate throughout a season. Although not every organization or business measures its “success” by a scoreboard, everyone can benefit from Busch’s inspiring, relatable, (and entertaining) message about facing challenges in a productive way. 
 
Coach Busch's impressive coaching career has spanned 30 years and teamed him up with legendary football minds like Tom Osborne, Urban Meyer, Barry Alvarez, Kyle Whittingham, Ed Orgeron and many others. In addition to three different stints at Nebraska (yes, three!), he’s coached at LSU, Rutgers, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Utah State, University of Utah, New Mexico State, and Northern Arizona. Besides serving as special teams coordinator, defensive coordinator, and position coach, he’s earned a variety of accolades, including co-defensive backs coach of the year and being named a top 25 recruiter in the nation (by Rivals.com).  
 
Coach Busch has a plethora of interesting behind-the-scenes stories and lessons and you don’t have to be sports-minded to appreciate his message.  Don’t expect a cliché “pep talk” kind of presentation; he doesn’t rely on generic “coachspeak.”  Bill Busch will positively impact the way you “do business.”

Bob Herum - President, Council for Disability Awareness - "The Importance of Disability"
Bob Herum is currently serving as Interim President of the CDA, following the untimely death of Carol Hartnett in August 2023. Bob is a longtime IDIS member who brings extensive knowledge and experience to the role. As a founder of Executive Benefits Brokerage, LLC and former 2nd Vice President of Ameritas Life Ins. Corp., he is widely recognized in the disability insurance field. His leadership includes being a past member of The CDA board, two tenures as President of IDIS, and his role as past chair of the NAHU Disability Insurance Advisory Group.  He holds the following industry designations: CLU, ChFC, RHU, REBC, MSFS, DIA, and LTCP.

Troy Cook - Professional Speaker & Author - "Change is Inevitable, Growth is Optional" 
Troy Cook brings a wealth of experience and variety of perspectives gained from over 30 years of leadership, health care, benefits and sales. His extensive knowledge and research has been leveraged by a wide range of organizations, from small businesses to numerous Fortune 500 firms all across the U.S. Troy’s career success has been directly attributed to the successful process and system he has built to meet organizational goals and priorities by driving meaningful impact for clients and colleagues. As a frequent speaker, his presentations consistently earn the highest marks from attendees and event planners.

Troy graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1990 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. With his typical spirit to move ahead quickly, Troy graduated in three and half years at a time when early graduates were rare. Troy was a distance runner during his college career and secured corporate sponsorships to pursue his goals. These corporate endorsements offered him the opportunity to speak to numerous audiences on the value of health and fitness throughout his years of competitive racing. This period in his life allowed Troy to understand two important elements of his personal abilities. First, an innate ability and passion to engage audiences large or small with expertise, passion and humor to present information on a variety of topics. Second, a love of coaching as a way to impact others These skills have become foundational to his professional, and volunteer and speaking life.
